Forgive yourself for the mistakes you’ve made. Growth comes from lessons learned.

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. –Nelson Mandela
We always extend kindness to others that have wronged us, but we often forget to forgive ourselves. Our journeys have been paved with wrong turns and lessons learned, and it has made you who you are today. You should be proud of yourself for being able to get back up when you fell, not beating yourself down because you’ve fallen before. It took me far too long to realize that, far too long to forgive myself for not loving myself.
I look in the mirror and I know the person I am today is the person I always wanted to be. I learned that letting go of the past and the old versions of myself was the only way to step into my true self. It took a long time. I needed to forgive myself for my past, I needed to trust that I would always do what’s best for myself.
It feels good to let go of mistakes.
